Our Story

Meet the Hermels, an outdoor-loving family from Northern Minnesota. Deer hunting is a tradition our families have had for many generations and we were so anxious to share those traditions with our children. In doing so, we knew that going out for the first time can be scary, that the expectation should be low, and that having fun while teaching was very important.

Both Emily and Phillip have had generations of deer hunting in their families. However, Emily did not grow up hunting like much of her family but was introduced and intrigued by the idea after meeting Phillip. They want to make this family tradition accessible to all.
